These craftsmen and women have combined their skills to create the Caliber 9R01, the first Micro Artist Studio movement developed exclusively for Grand Seiko. Developed based on the combination of the brand philosophy and the inquisitive spirit of the studio, Caliber 9R01 uses a mechanism in which three barrels achieve an extended eight-day power reserve. This ensures the high precision of the movement over a long period of time. The movement is polished and finished beautifully by master craftsmen. The impressive form of the Platinum 950 case is made possible through superior polishing techniques, and the dial evokes the morning snows of the Suwa region, sparkling like diamond dust.
