In Japan, as the seasons pass, one can notice many changes taking place throughout nature. Grand Seiko seeks to capture the essence of these changes through evocative dials made in-house. The snow-white dial of SBGX355 is meant to suggest the serendipitous beauty of nature in the area near the Shinshu Watch Studio where it is made. Brought to life through master craftsmanship, it presents a detailed pattern not unlike the one traced across the snow by the wind in the Hotaka peaks in winter. The steel seconds hand, tempered to a vivid shade of blue, creates a beautiful contrast as it rounds the pure white dial. The 37mm case and the bracelet are crafted from High-Intensity Titanium, which is even more resistant to abrasion than regular titanium and wears ethereally light on the wrist.
