This model’s case embodies the Evolution 9 Style, a development of Grand Seiko’s design language known as the Grand Seiko Style. With its intricate pattern and silvery white hue, the watch’s dial dynamically expresses the white birch forests that grow in profusion near the Grand Seiko Studio Shizukuishi, the manufacturing base for Grand Seiko’s mechanical watches. Inside is the mechanical high-beat Caliber 9SA5, a Grand Seiko-exclusive automatic movement. Thanks to its innovative Dual Impulse Escapement and twin barrels, it achieves a high frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour while offering an impressive power reserve of approximately 80 hours when fully wound.
