“Our goal with the Time Jumper was to rethink how we express time and bring something unexpected to life,” says CEO Xavier de Roquemaurel. “We’ve long been fascinated by time indications that move beyond traditional hands, and the jumping hour offered the perfect canvas. Yet most executions are similar, and we wanted to reimagine the complication in our own distinctive way.” The result is an almost literal expression of Czapek’s ‘head in the sky, feet on the ground’ philosophy: the former embodied in the retro-futuristic flying-saucer case, the latter anchored in the round form inspired by historic pocket watches. Every surface, curve, and proportion is considered with architectural precision, creating a design that feels both pioneering and timeless. The Calibre 10 begins with a centrally mounted winding rotor in recycled 950 platinum, skeletonised to reveal the architecture below in its purest form. The overall design is fluid and harmonious with concentric circles, graceful curves, and an open interplay of bridges, anchored by the geometric arms of the compass-shaped rotor. The five-spoke wheels, finished with diamond-bevellededges, add technical artistry and elegance. Calibre 10.01, the first expression of this philosophy, combines a central jumping-hours display on a 24-hour register with trailing minutes on a peripheral ring.
